Selena Berg is a supporting character in My Next Life as a Villainess! All Routes Lead to Doom!. She is the fiancé of Prince Ian Stuart.
She is the one who orchestrated the kidnapping of Katarina Claes during the Magic Academy's School Festival, so that Geordo Stuart will be forced to renounce his rights to the throne and make Ian ascend to the throne.

Selena has brown eyes and short brown hair, with tucked bangs. She is typically seen wearing a white dress with pink linings and purple flowers.
Personality[]
Selena is a kind, gentle and shy girl, who is often laughed at by other nobles for being clumsy and fumbled. She has low self-esteem, due to the negative rumors circling around her and her relationship with her fiancée. She is very thoughtful and always prioritizes the well-being of other people before herself.
After meeting Katarina, she had decided to be more upfront and honest about her feelings, and to be the kind of person who can face her insecurities head on.
Background[]
Selena was born as the eldest daughter of Duke Berg. As a child, she had been acquainted with Prince Ian, and due to their similar ages and the fact that she can use magic, she was selected as his fiancée.
During their time in the Magic Academy, she realized that her magical aptitude was really low and would not improve no matter how much studies and time she puts into improving it. Selena also realized that Ian does not find time to meet her and would only focus on important business whenever they are together. This has made Selena and other nobles believe that Ian dislikes his fiancée, leading her to become very insecure about her position. It is to the point that her family and other members of nobility recommend that Ian finds a new fiancée that is more capable than herself.[1]

Selena and Ian met and became engaged when they were both 9 years old. Selena appreciated Ian for never laughing at her clumsy and fumbled self, unlike the other people around her. Selena has strong feelings for her fiancée, but feels rejected by him because he does not approach her willingly unless it is necessary for him to do so.
After the events of Katarina's kidnapping, she has become aware that her feelings of love for Prince Ian are mutual,[2] and the two are now enjoying their engagement in love and bliss.
Suzanna Randall[]
Selena and Suzanna are both fiancées of the princes, making them acquainted with each other. Selena admires Suzanna's beauty and intelligence.
Katarina Claes[]
Thanks to the rumors about Katarina in the Magic Academy, as well as the fact that they are both fiancées to a prince, Selena has high respect towards her. As Selena, to her knowledge, was the mastermind for Katarina's kidnapping, she is very apologetic towards her and made sure that she is accommodated and comfortable. Just like the other prince's fiancées, Selena was very envious of Katarina's relationship with Prince Geordo, as it is well known throughout the country of how strong his feelings are for her. Katarina had been very kind to Selena despite the fact that she is the perpetrator of the kidnapping, leading to them creating a bond and friendship as the pair of unworthy prince's fiancées. Selena was given comfort and advice by Katarina, making her realize the faults in her feelings and logic. Their close bond has led them to be good friends, with Selena truly believing that Katarina is a "saintess".
Sora Smith[]
As a butler of the Berg Household, Rufus (Sora) was a very hardworking and diligent butler to Selena. Unlike the other servants, Selena felt most comfortable with Rufus because he was loyal to her despite her reputation in her family. She has decided to open up her frustrations involving Ian to him, and he had suggested a plan in order to make the other princes forsake their claim to the throne. Despite the fact that the plan to kidnap Katarina was originally Rufus' plan, she decided not to tell others of his involvement as she decided to shoulder all the consequences on her own, and because of how grateful she is of his service.
